Job Title: Full-Time News Photographer Location: Berks County Studio – WFMZ-TV 69 News Job Description: WFMZ-TV 69 News is looking for a skilled and motivated Full-Time Photographer to join our team at our Berks County Studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative visual storyteller who can capture compelling news content and deliver high-quality video for television and digital platforms. Responsibilities:
Shoot and edit news stories, including breaking news, features, and special assignments.
Operate professional ENG cameras and live equipment.
Work closely with reporters, producers, and news directors to ensure high-quality visual storytelling.
Set up and execute live shots in the field and studio environments.
Ensure proper lighting, audio, and composition for all video content.
Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Adapt to a fast-paced newsroom environment and meet tight deadlines.
Follow all station safety and journalistic standards.
Qualifications:
Experience in news photography and video editing preferred.
Proficiency in non-linear editing software (Adobe Premiere, Edius, etc.).
Knowledge of broadcast and digital video production techniques.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
