Join our dynamic senior management team as a Senior Producer, a pivotal role reporting directly to the executive producers. We are seeking a candidate with over 10 years of experience in national broadcast news, demonstrating expertise in leading teams and crafting impactful, long-format storytelling in crime content. This position requires deep hands-on experience in all aspects of production, and an individual with a deep understanding of the criminal justice system and a sensitivity to the experiences of victims and their families.
Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of experienced writer/producers and collaborate closely with all key departments
Edit and punch-up scripts to tell compelling narratives that capture the voice of the show while maintaining the highest standards of factual integrity
Evaluate and resolve editorial challenges and conflicts with adept problem-solving skills
Guide and interact with talent and teams shooting in the field
Contribute to the planning and execution of daily show
Interface and collaborate across all departments including digital and social media team and promotions
Foster the growth and development of team members through constructive feedback and mentorship
Pay Range: $135,000-$160,000 salary per year.
