WyoFile serves Wyoming’s civic life with community-supported, nonpartisan, public-interest journalism. To support that mission, we’re looking for a general assignment reporter with public safety and justice system reporting experience. The details:

Start date: ASAP

Salary range: $60-72K, depending on experience

Reports to: Managing editor

Location: Wyoming — Lander, Laramie, Casper, Cheyenne or Jackson preferred, but other Wyoming communities considered. Depending on location, this role could be office-based, home-office-based or a hybrid.
