Your Role:

Institutional Giving builds and fortifies Minnesota Public Radio | American Public Media (“MPR|APM”) by securing and stewarding five, six, and seven-figure grants from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Institutional Giving broadens institutional support, engages new funders, and deepens established relationships.

The Development Officer works closely with content producers and MPR|APM leadership to develop and submit high-quality funding proposals and to apprise funders about the progress and impact of grant-funded activities. The Development Officer collaborates with a team of institutional giving colleagues and coordinates with MPR|APM’s individual giving, membership, and underwriting teams. The Development Officer also advances MPR|APM’s efforts to diversify its organization and its audiences, and to fulfill deep commitments to equity and inclusion.

Location: Hybrid, St. Paul, MN.

Expected Compensation Range: $78,500 - $82,000 / annualized. The exact rate is determined by experience and education related to the role, organizational compensation structure, and internal equity.
