Job Description:

Produce compelling, creative and high-quality sports broadcast and digital content for Nebraska Public Media! Be part of an award-winning team producing and directing live sports multi-camera coverage including live high school and college sports along with a variety of other live and recorded content and studio productions. Produce non-sports content in other genres which may include history, arts, health, and science. Experience producing non-fiction television content from start to finish. Strong writing and original storytelling skills are vital to this position.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications or related field and five (5) years of experience originating, developing, writing, and producing programs for local/regional/national audiences essential; equivalent education/experience considered. Strong interpersonal skills necessary. Ability to seek and secure program funding through grants and/or underwriting. Ability to lead and supervise professional staff. Skill in television production, multi-camera directing, copywriting and editing, knowledge of current events, computer literacy. Strong writing and original story-telling skills. Ability to direct live multi-camera studio and remote telecasts.
