News Producer:

WDJT-TV CBS 58, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin WDJT-TV is looking for an innovative, communicative, and driven News Producer.

What You’ll Do 

· Produce timely, engaging news content for newscasts 

· Leverage modern graphics and innovative production techniques to enhance storytelling 

· Collaborate closely with photojournalists to develop and execute assigned stories

· Generate story ideas, conduct in depth research, and manage footage logging

What You’ll Need 

· Strong multiplatform journalism skills and a passion for delivering impactful news 

· Sound news judgement, with a clear understanding of the urgency surrounding breaking news and severe weather coverage 

· Exceptional writing and copy-editing skills with a strong creative voice

· Sharp attention to detail, understanding of brand standards, and a commitment to producing quality products

· Experience producing local newscasts
