CALL FOR NEWS INTERNS SUMMER 2026
 
LNP Media Group, Inc., which publishes LNP in print and LancasterOnline for Lancaster County readers, is seeking intern candidates to work with its journalism team during Summer 2026. Interns are paid $15/hour and work full-time schedules for 12 weeks from late May to mid-August.
 
During Summer 2026, successful candidates will report and write on the news, features and sports teams. The deadline to apply for these Summer positions is Dec. 31, 2025.
 
To apply, you are encouraged to submit a cover letter, resume and writing samples for consideration. You must also indicate which department's internship you are interested in — news, features or sports.
 
You will need a valid driver's license, your own transportation and be located in Lancaster County for reporting purposes during this internship. It is not remote. You will be offered free housing as well.
 
This is a rich experience for journalists getting started on their careers with opportunities to chase breaking news, cover sports, write features and hone your editing skills.
