FOX 7 Austin News is seeking a talented and dedicated News Photographer to join our dynamic team. This role demands an individual with a keen eye for capturing compelling visuals and the ability to deliver broadcast-quality video consistently. As a News Photographer, you will play a pivotal role in our news coverage, working closely with reporters or independently to bring stories to life for our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Production: Capture and produce high-quality video footage that meets broadcast standards, ensuring clarity, composition, and storytelling excellence.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage your schedule to meet deadlines and time-slots, demonstrating reliability and punctuality in all assignments.
• Collaboration: Work harmoniously with reporters and other team members, fostering a cooperative environment to enhance news coverage.
• Communication: Maintain constant communication with the assignments desk, providing timely updates during breaking news events and while streaming live video.
• Equipment Care: Exercise meticulous care in handling and maintaining camera and live equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Uphold the cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicles, reflecting professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in news photography, with a portfolio showcasing broadcast-quality video work.
• Strong technical skills in operating video cameras and related equipment.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to maintaining equipment and vehicles to the highest standards.
