Job Description

Fast Company is looking for a Video Producer/Shooter/Editor who is a dynamic storyteller and visual content creator. The right person for the role will be responsible for executing innovative long- and short-form videos for editorial, custom, and event purposes. This role requires a high level of creativity and technical expertise to elevate storytelling and production quality.

This is a 6-month contract position. Day rate: $375-$425. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, industry, and education.

• Produce, write, shoot, and edit high-quality original video content under tight deadlines.
• Create a wide range of short- and long-form video content for digital audiences.
• Work with journalistic integrity, making sure to research subjects and report accurately.
• Collaborate with the EP, Head of Post-Production, Podcast Team, and other team members to complete video pieces; collaborate with editorial team writers to tell their stories visually.
• Collaborate with custom and events teams-- and others across the organization—to integrate video content seamlessly into broader initiatives.
• Lead and direct 2-3 person teams on video shoots.

Job Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience producing, writing, shooting, and editing original video content.
• Camera gear, audio, and lighting knowledge for a wide variety of shoots (C100, C200, C300)
