Job Description

Produce compelling, creative and high quality broadcast and digital content for Nebraska Public Media! Bring Nebraska’s stories to life with content that explores the state’s diverse people, places, events and cultures. Create that exciting short & long-form content through EFP and live studio productions. Be a part of our award-winning team and produce projects similar to: What If…, Beyond the Baton, JAM, Savor and Nebraska Stories. Experience producing non-fiction television content from start to finish, strong writing and original storytelling skills are vital to this position.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications, or related field and one (1) year of experience originating, developing, writing, and producing non-fiction television content essential; equivalent education/experience considered. Strong interpersonal skills necessary. Skill in television production, copywriting and editing, knowledge of current events, and computer literacy. Strong writing and original story-telling skills. Familiarity with EFP, multi-camera studio and remote production.
