Job Description

WBUR is seeking a collaborative, experienced investigative reporter to join our award-winning investigative team as part of a partnership between WBUR and ProPublica. The team works closely with the rest of the newsroom and with partners across the station to deepen the organization’s investigative journalism and broaden the impact of its work across local and national broadcasts, wbur.org, newsletters, our swanky community venue CitySpace, and wherever else we practice journalism. Among your talents, you should be organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to juggle medium and long-term stories. You must have experience pitching stories, following tips, developing sources, filing FOIA requests and analyzing public records. Audio experience is preferred but not required.
Please include a cover letter that describes why you are the best candidate for this position and supply three stories that show your skills at digging and your finesse at writing.
