Assistant or Associate Professional Practice Professor - Supervising Producer Documentary Journalism
The Missouri School of Journalism seeks a supervising producer for its documentary journalism center. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in documentary-related or journalism-related work. This 12-month faculty member will serve the Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism and its hands-on teaching approach to creating documentary content. Candidates must excel at storytelling and have experience with the tools necessary to create long-form, visual documentary content. The successful candidate must be able to take part in the day-to-day operations of the center, including the following duties:
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least five years of experience in the documentary or journalism field.
Candidates will be evaluated on highest degree earned.
