Twitter is looking to hire an evangelist and advocate for independent and freelance journalists to help them use Twitter to grow, monetize and engage their audiences.
Your job will be to nurture relationships, develop best practices and inspire the creation of great content on Twitter.
As a growing number of journalists leave established media companies for the new creator economy, you’ll also help to educate these independent writers about how to leverage Twitter’s latest suite of products and tools, such as newsletters, Spaces, Tip Jar and Super Follows, to connect with and get rewarded by their Twitter audience.

Who You Are
You should have a strong vision for how Twitter can help people discover, consume and engage with the best journalism from around the country, and how we can help journalists produce it.
You will also be an internal advocate for journalists on Twitter, escalating their support needs around safety, security and more.
The role requires excellent management skills, proven persuasion skills, a very strong editorial sense and an aptitude for driving innovation. You should be a native and expert Twitter user. You should have experience conducting data-driven analyses to drive your decision-making. You should have equal comfort making your case at an intimate meeting or on stage at a widely-attended conference. You should thrive in environments that are uncharted and ever-evolving.
