The Financial Times is looking for an executive producer to join their growing audio team spanning New York and London. In this role you will work closely with producers on our flagship US based shows like Behind the Money and FT News Briefing, and in collaboration with your EP counterpart in London to provide editorial direction across our evolving podcast portfolio.
Podcasts at the FT sit within the digital editorial development team, where audio plays a pivotal role in helping us improve our reach and engage more deeply with new and existing audiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is pushing to innovate in audio as you help develop engaging content reflective of our world class journalism. As we launch exciting new ventures in audio, you will form an integral part of the global team.
You will have an enthusiasm for and demonstrable experience in narrative podcasting. We're looking for a confident communicator, who is able to articulate their unique and creative approach to programme making.
You have a good grasp of the US market and successful podcast formats, a passion for current affairs and business news, and a good understanding of the FT’s unique brand of globally-focused journalism.
