Approximate Start Date: July 2021

Borderless Magazine’s Mission: Borderless Magazine NFP is a nonprofit news outlet that is reimagining immigration journalism for a more just and equitable future. We report stories, train emerging journalists from immigrant communities and train professional journalists in how to better serve immigrant audiences. Sign up for our newsletter and read our 2020 Impact Report for examples of our work.

Do you believe in the power of immigrant voices? We do.

Borderless Magazine NFP is seeking a gifted and energetic Director of Development to help make our work reporting on and with immigrants sustainable for years to come.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to work in a creative environment at a growing nonprofit news outlet. You’ll be part of a diverse team that is committed to immigrant rights issues and justice.

We especially encourage members of traditionally underrepresented communities to apply, including immigrants, women, people of color, LGBTQ people and people with disabilities.

We know there are great candidates who may not exactly fit into this job description or who have important skills we haven’t considered. If that’s you, don’t hesitate to apply and tell us about yourself.

We can support you and provide training to meet the responsibilities for this role.
