Linda Lockhart works for St. Louis Public Radio. She has been telling stories for most of her life. A graduate of the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, she has worked at several newspapers round the Midwest, including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, as a reporter, copy editor, make-up editor, night city editor, wire editor, Metro Section editor, and editorial writer. As outreach specialist for St. Louis Public Radio, she works to connect with listeners and readers, primarily through the Public Insight Network. This journalism tool is a product of Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media that helps connect journalists with news sources. Specialties: As an analyst for the Public Insight Network, I have many tasks. At various times I function as researcher, reporter, editor, producer and promoter. I use the network to solicit insight and knowledge from people, which may lead them to become news sources or lead St. Louis Public Radio in exciting directions to find new stories.
