AIR’s Content Director (CD) oversees continuing activities associated with AIR’s productions, including Localore and live events. They also manage staff charged with programming and communications, and bring high aptitude for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability of working with a diverse range of personalities and skill-sets. Other requisite skills include: a) demonstrated competence in public media journalism at the national and/or local levels, b) expertise with managing deadline-driven projects, c) skilled at writing and editing. The CD is exceedingly well organized, disciplined, inventive, and adaptive. They thrive in an innovative atmosphere. They are inspired by new ideas at a time of great opportunity and change, and also inspire others with passion, positivity, and the sense of anything-is-possible. They report to AIR’s CEO/Executive Producer (EP) and works in close collaboration with other staff. This is a full-time position based at AIR headquarters in Dorchester, MA.
